MEMR lectures on Energy conservation for JCSCC Employees

On March 3, 2024, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources held an awareness lecture for employees of the Civil Service Consumer Corporation (JCSCC) regarding energy conservation in homes and government buildings, presented by Engineer Arwa AbuKashef from the Directorate of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency at the Ministry.

AbuKashef discussed methods of conserving energy in home heating and the efficiency of various heating appliances, emphasizing the importance of using thermal insulation in homes to reduce heating and cooling costs, especially during the winter season and decreasing temperatures.

AbuKashef also outlined the services provided by the Ministry to support energy efficiency and renewable energy requirements in the residential and public/governmental building sectors, using various awareness methods such as direct messages, explanatory videos, and presentations.

This lecture is part of the Ministry's commitment to conducting a series of specialized awareness clectures on energy conservation and energy efficiency issues targeting various segments of the local community, including official and private institutions and schools.

The Civil Service Consumer Corporation was established in  1977 and operates with a vision focused on leadership in the quality, competitiveness, and geographic spread of its goods, aiming to protect citizens from price hikes, quality fluctuations in some items, and fill shortages in quantities.
