March 3, 2024 - A delegation from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, headed by Minister Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, participates in the activities of the annual PDAC conference, which is being held in Toronto, Canada, during the period from March 3-6 of this year.

The delegation participates in the conference activities by presenting investment opportunities in the mining sector in Jordan, and learning about the experiences of major companies and international entities specialized in the field of exploration and mining.

The conference is the premier event for the minerals industry in the world, attracting up to 30,000 participants from more than 130 countries, and is considered a valuable opportunity for business communication between governments, companies and organizations related to mineral exploration, as the conference brings together more than 1,100 exhibitors, 2,500 investors and 24,000 attendees in person in 2023. Participants can attend programs, training courses and networking events during the conference, which began its influence since its inception in 1932 as the preferred event for the global mining industry.

PDAC is short for Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, an organization that represents the interests of the mineral exploration and mining industry in Canada and globally.
