November 22, 2025 — The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) announced the issuance of Tender No. (20/M/Works/2025), which includes the design, supply, installation, operation, and maintenance of grid-connected solar energy systems, along with all auxiliary equipment such as inverters, with a capacity of 2 kilowatts. The project targets 500 homes belonging to families benefiting from the National Aid Fund across various governorates of the Kingdom.
MEMR invited interested companies and contractors to visit the Tenders Section at the Ministry’s headquarters, bringing documents that prove their valid technical classification within the required specialties as stated in the tender announcement.
MEMR clarified that interested parties may purchase the tender documents electronically through the Ministry’s website (www.memr.gov.jo) starting Monday, December 1, 2025, until Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 12:00 noon.
It also set Thursday, December 11, 2025, as the final deadline for submitting inquiries via email at Hana.AlZuabi@memr.gov.jo, while Monday, December 22, 2025, at 12:00 noon will be the final deadline for submitting bids.
MEMR required bidders to attach a bid bond valued at JOD 10,000, issued by a local bank and valid for 120 days from the bid submission date. Bids must be submitted in three separate envelopes (technical, financial, and bid bond), all placed inside a fourth sealed envelope. The price of the tender document is JOD 200, non-refundable.
The project aims to promote reliance on renewable energy sources and reduce the financial burdens on beneficiary families of the National Aid Fund.
