Laboratories and Quality Directorate

 The Laboratories and Quality Directorate carry out the following tasks :

• Conducting organic, inorganic, mineral, and physical chemical analyses on mineral ores, rocks, and soils for Ministry exploration projects.
• Conduct studies and research to process and improve the quality of mineral ores for industrial applications.
• Determine the physical and mechanical characteristics of the soil, rocks, aggregates, and sand.
• Provision of geotechnical (engineering, geological and chemical) consultations to the public and private sectors.
• Evaluating laboratory results for various materials, such as aggregates, sand, or stone, and their conformity to Jordan's criteria.
• Providing services and consultations to the public and private sectors and scientific and research institutions in the field of laboratory tests.
• Implementing the Jordanian Accreditation System No. 17025 in all administrative and technical aspects, auditing, and conducting verification and proficiency tests.
