Supervising the evaluation and qualification of companies applying and interested in investing in the sectors (oil and gas, oil shale, and tar sands).
Preparing and drafting all types of contractual documents and commercial agreements related to exploration, evaluation, production and development operations for (oil and gas, oil shale and tar sands).
Technical supervision and follow-up of the implementation of all contractual documents and commercial agreements related to exploration, evaluation, production and development operations for (oil and gas, oil shale and tar sands) and documenting their information and technical reports.
Marketing open exploration areas for oil and gas, oil shale and tar sands to attract international companies.
Conducting geophysical surveys and studies for all Ministry projects.
Conducting geophysical surveys and studies for government projects and the private sector upon request.
Supervising and following up on the implementation of plans to develop the Ministry’s oil and gas exploration areas.
Auditing, evaluating and following up on the financial situation of companies operating in natural resources contracting with the Ministry.
