Internal Control Unit

 The internal control unit carry out the following tasks :

• Inspection, verification, and evaluation of all aspects of activity related to the safety and accuracy of transactions and financial actions, work procedures, and elements of human and material production
• Verifying and ensuring that resources have been collected on time, documented in records according to assets, and utilized as planned.
• Inspection and verification of adherence to plans, performance levels, and defined objectives.
• Ensuring that assets, properties, and various production elements have been owned, purchased, constructed, employed, used, or benefited from in accordance with the specified and approved specifications, standards, and plans.
• Verification of the availability of all possible means for the safety of the employed production elements, their maintenance, protection, and preservation.
• Verification that the use of production elements and work procedures has been conducted in accordance with the applicable legislations.
• Verification of the accuracy and authenticity of records, documents, documents, and files.
• Evaluation of performance in all areas of work.
• Participation in committee activities as assigned by the Minister and the Secretary-General.
• Inquiry, questioning, and obtaining data and information within the scope of the tasks assigned to the unit.
• Recommending the cancellation or modification of anything that hinders or impedes effective performance and efficient control.
• Evaluating administrative decisions to ensure their alignment with the applicable legislations.
• Providing the senior management with monthly reports on the overall work of the unit and its achievements.
• Providing the Central Control Unit at the Ministry of Finance with periodic reports or upon request about the activities and achievements carried out by the Internal Audit Unit.
• Inspecting and auditing the field centers affiliated with the ministry within the scope of the required field tasks of the unit, to ensure that financial, administrative, and technical matters align with the plans and objectives intended to be achieved.
• Any other tasks assigned to the internal control unit by the Minister.
