April 18, 2024 - In implementation of the awareness plan to rationalize energy consumption directed to all segments of Jordanian society, and in response to the request of modern American schools, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources held an awareness lecture in the English language for fourth grade students in school, presented by engineer Arwa Abu Kashef from the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Directorate in the Ministry.

Ms. Abu Kashef discussed the forms of clean energy and sustainable development goals, and provided a detailed explanation of the energy label and its importance in choosing electrical appliances. She highlighted the necessity of linking the concepts and behaviors of rationalizing energy consumption to the phenomenon of climate change and the importance of awareness of methods aimed at preserving the environment.

Abu Kashef asked the students short questions and presented samples of an energy label so that the students could understand its importance.

The lecture aims to increase students' awareness of environmental behaviors and their importance at the national level.
