A team from the Ministry of Energy visits Jordan Customs to learn about its experience in promoting corporate culture

July 22, 2025 - A team from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources visited the General Customs Department on Monday, as part of the ministry's efforts to promote a collaborative approach among government institutions and to learn about pioneering experiences in the field of corporate culture. The visit was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Director General of Jordan Customs, Major General Ahmad Al-Akalik.

During the meeting, Al-Akalik emphasized that the Jordan Customs Department has adopted an integrated project to promote corporate culture within the department. He noted that the experience has become a model to be emulated across public sector institutions, given its tangible results in consolidating corporate values, motivating human resources, and creating a work environment based on excellence and innovation.

The Corporate Culture Team at the Customs Department gave a detailed presentation, including the stages of establishing the team, the criteria used to select its members, the most prominent corporate initiatives launched, and the mechanisms for measuring their impact on employees and the local community.

At the conclusion of the visit, both sides emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise between government institutions and working together to improve institutional performance, contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals.

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources team expressed its thanks and appreciation to the Jordan Customs Department for the valuable information exchanged, emphasizing the ministry's keenness to enhance future cooperation and benefit from successful experiences of other government institutions.
